Architectural experts agree that the most beautiful and perhaps most impressive place in the palace built between the wars, where KCC is currently located, is the hall, which welcomes everyone who enters through the main portal of the building. The hall opens onto a wide staircase leading to the essential rooms of the palace. These in the sixties by the artist B. Grušas were decorated with impressive stained glass. The hall is suitable for spectacular receptions, non-traditional concerts, art exhibitions or other activities. Visitors experience the original grandeur of interwar modernist architecture. Centuries-old interior elements have survived here: original terracotta floors, stylish stair handrails, profiled ceiling edgings, etc.
