The “Ainiai” Mixed Choir for the Elderly, formerly known as the Fighting and Work Veterans Choir, was formed in 1964. At that time the choir leader was Kęstutis Kepežinskas, later – Rolandas Daugėla, from 2004 to 2019 the choir was led by Mindaugas Šikšnius, and from 2019 the artistic director and conductor – R. Burinskienė. “Ainiai” choir participates in Kaunas city and republican song festivals, gives concerts in churches, schools, and the Palace of Culture. In 2009, “Ainiai” participated in the international sacred music competition “Cantate Domino”.
