Tai – ne paprastas koncertas. Tai jautrus pasakojimas apie tragišką miesto istorijos puslapį ir apie amžiną žmogaus dvasios troškimą net žiauriausių išbandymų akivaizdoje atrasti tikėjimą ir viltį. „Paskutiniame koncerte“ muzika susipins su istorija. Išgirsite ne tik gete atliktus kūrinius, bet ir gyvą pasakojimą, prikeliantį išgyvenusiųjų liudijimus bei talentingų muzikantų biografijas.
Vienas unikaliausių renginio elementų – pirmą kartą po karo Lietuvoje atliekamas Kauno gete sukurtas simfoninis kūrinys „Geltonoji fantazija“ (kompozitorius Percy Haid).
Dalyvaus: Kauno miesto simfoninis orkestras (dirigentas Vilmantas Kaliūnas), „Kaunas 2022“ ambasadorė Bella Shirin, VDU vaidybos studentai. Libreto autorė ir režisierė Agnė Dilytė.
Už šią galimybę koncerto rengėjai dėkoja Izraelio istorikui Rami Neudorfer.

EN | Idea. This is not an ordinary concert. It is a sensitive story about a tragic page in the city’s history, and about the eternal desire of human spirit to discover the faith and hope when facing the most brutal trials. Music of “The Last Concert“ will intertwine with the story. You will hear not only the pieces performed in the ghetto, but also a live narrative that resurrects testimonies of survivors and biographies of talented musicians.
One of the most unique elements of the event is a symphonic piece created in Kaunas Ghetto – “Fantasy in Yellow” (composer Percy Haid); for the first time after the war it will be performed in Lithuania. Concert organizers would like to express their sincere gratitude for this opportunity to Israel historian Rami Neudorfer.
